~使用変化(エイジング)について~
室町末期から江戸後期に焼かれた古唐津は
長年大切に育てられ渋い姿に化けています。
唐津焼には吸水性が良いものが多く、土や貫入(釉薬の細かいひび模様)にお酒やお茶などが染み込み姿を変えていく特徴があります。
吸水性と変化(エイジング)のお話は後のブログで詳しくいたします。
写真は二年ほど愛用の三島唐津湯呑みです。
お水をいただくときに使用するのですが、水だけでもこれだけ渋く変化します。
口が欠け、ひびも目立ちますが
まだまだ壊れるまで愛用していきます。
