古唐津発祥の古窯跡近くの地層から20年程前に採掘した土を轆轤引き。

ほぼ砂と小石の土は粘りが無く轆轤が困難です。

腐葉土や虫の死骸など有機物を多く含むので、暗く暖かい場所で寝かせ発酵させると轆轤引きし易くなります。

土味に優れ、土の縮れ(ちりめん皺)や石ハゼが景色をつくりだします。

次回の窯で斑唐津ぐい呑みとして生まれ変わります。
